Entry Fee: $125 per man

FORMAT

Holes 1 – 9: “1 Low Best Ball Net” Handicaps adjusted to 85% and strokes applied where they fall on the card.

Holes 10 - 18: “2 Player Alternate Shot”

Each player will hit alternating tee shots (even or odd) during this format. The player will alternate playing the one ball until each hole is completed. This format will continue throughout the nine holes.

The team handicap is the total of the two players, using 60% of the low handicap and 40% of the high handicap divided by 2 for nine holes.

Teams will be divided into flights based on the combined handicap index of the two players. Each net flight winner will advance to a shootout played on holes 1, 2, and 9. The shootout will continue the alternate shot format from the back 9. Teams will be eliminated on each shootout hole until a champion is crowned on #9.

There will be an optional gross and net skins game, $20/team for one and $40/team for both.

TEES

There will be three sets of tees in play. The MGA Tournament tee and a MGA Forward tee and the Red tees. The general goal of the tee positions will be to make par more difficult on each hole, not necessarily to make the holes longer. Risk reward decisions will be plentiful. USGA Rules will govern all play except as defined by the format or local rules.
